A bias for action: A line that Amit Varma, one of India’s top podcasters, espouses in his masterclass for a program I run. While strategy and groundwork is fine, what matters more is rolling up sleeves and getting it done. For my research offerings, my aim is to use insights to action for you, not relegate them to a pretty-looking PDF.
Yes, research helps: While it’s fashionable on startup Twitter to say “I went with my gut” and dismiss research, the truth is that for the majority of businesses, knowing the customer helps. In my career I have come across profound insights, and seen it shape successful product / marketing strategy. By the way, I do not dismiss intuition - far from it.
I do multiple things, all of which adds on to each other. I believe my content projects have made me a better researcher. If nothing else, I am sure we will find common ground and have a good non-work discussion based on something you see here.

I run one of India’s fastest growing Substacks, where I blend lived experience and philosophy to answer fundamental questions about the human experience. My posts have gone viral, including being the #1 on Hackernews homepage (Run by Y Combinator) and having traffic of 65% coming from outside India.

I teach a hands-on course on research at MICA, Ahmedabad, empowering our students with hands-on skills to be consumer first in their approach to growth.

I host a short-format travel and history podcast that started off espousing slow travel, but over time morphed into lessons we can learn from far-flung places. It’s a global Top 2% podcast. For me, it has opened my door to the world of content creation and has expanded my thinking about living life.

I have recently gotten into fountain pen sketching, whose examples you see scattered across this site.
